By responding in the affirmative (including, but not limited to, responding “Yes”) to the text we have sent, you authorize VW Credit, Inc. ("VCI” or “we/us") to automatically charge the debit/credit card you have on file with us in the Audi reLease mobile application (the “App”) the amount due each month on your scheduled due date as indicated in your Motor Vehicle Lease Agreement (“Lease Agreement”).  Your authorization will only cover your regular scheduled monthly payment (base payment plus any monthly taxes) as shown in your Lease Agreement.  You will need to separately authorize payment for any other outstanding amounts due and outstanding to VCI (including late charges, parking tickets or excess wear/mileage) as described in your Lease Agreement.

You understand that enrollment in an Automatic Payment Plan is optional and is not required in order to obtain credit or lease financing from VCI, and you may choose to cancel your Automatic Payment Plan at any time.  You also agree that card transactions you authorize comply with all applicable law.  If at any time you wish to change the card you have on file, you may change this at any time within the App.

You understand that if we are unable to secure funds from your account for the payments you have authorized for any reason including, but not limited to, insufficient or uncollected funds in the account or insufficient or inaccurate information you provided, we may discontinue processing of recurring charges.  You understand that if, for any reason, you pay your monthly payment after it is due, your VCI account may incur late fees as set forth in your Lease Agreement, and that all such fees may be collected via electronic funds transfer.  You understand that if you fail to pay your bill when it is due, we may undertake further collection action to the extent permitted by law. 

We may cancel this authorization at any time. You may cancel this authorization by faxing a written notice to us at 800-229-5076 or by calling us at 888-AFS-AUDI (237-2834).  In order for us to cancel a scheduled Automatic Payment, we must receive your request to cancel at least 5 days before the scheduled payment date.  If we receive your cancellation request fewer than 5 days before the next scheduled payment date, the Automatic Payment will be submitted as normal and the cancellation will be effective for your next scheduled payment. Please call us at 888-AFS-AUDI (237-2834) if: [1) you are unable to fax a written notice; 2) you cannot cancel your scheduled payment; or 3) you have questions regarding error resolution].

You understand and agree that you are not waiving your rights under the Electronic Funds Transfer Act or other law to stop electronic funds transfer payments to us by directly contacting your financial institution, and that your exercise of such rights does not constitute a breach of this authorization agreement.
